Mon Rêve - 'My dream' - is a
romantic lovely cottage, located in the beautiful Landes region of the
Aquitaine.
Set in Leon village, minutes walk from the shops, restaurants, banks,
cinema and local amenities. And only a few minutes drive (or cycle) to
the sea and lakes.
Mon Rêve is a modern, two bedroom duplex which sleeps 2 to 6 people,
with a fabulous garden, and every convenience. Fully equipped with all
you will need for a wonderful holiday.
Rainy days are rare, so you will want to enjoy the outside life, with a
deck, dining terrace and sunbathing terrace, you will be spoilt for
choice.
The ambiance of Mon Rêve, au Piteou will quickly lull you into the
relaxation and tranquillity you have longed for: Wonderful, Romantic,
Sunny
Leon is right down in the South-West of France where the sun is much
higher in the sky all year round. The forest of Landes is vast, and
together with the amazing Atlantic dominates the landscape.

The
Côte d'Argent is the long stretch of coast from the mouth of the
Gironde estuary near Bordeaux to Biarritz, which – at over 200km
– is the longest, straightest and sandiest in Europe. The endless
beaches are backed by high sand dunes, while behind lies the
largest forest in western Europe, Les Landes. Despite these
attractions the coast gets comparatively few visitors, and
away from the main resorts it's still possible to find deserted
stretches of coastline.

This region has many attractions:
Beach holidays and Surfing
are obvious choices with visitors well catered for. Novice
surfers can take anything from an hour's lesson, or a week's
tuition.
Cycling is increasingly
popular, with the Landes forest boasting hundreds of Km of safe
and off-road cycle paths. Cycle hire is possible within a
five minute walk of Mon Rêve.
Some of France's best links golf
courses are located within 30 minutes of Mon Rêve. Equipment
hire, tuition and golf buggies are all available (and inexpensive
compared to the UK).
Fishng: The Lac de Leon is
located less than 1Km from Mon Rêve is virtually unfished and
boasts large carp, roach, pike and perch. A fishing permit is all
that is required and available from the Tabac in the village.
Alternatively, the Atlantic beaches nearby are perfect for
surf-casting where large sea bass are common.
Other local activities include horse
riding, bird watching, photography, art, good food and wine..
